Big Beautiful Babies

We got interested in Bullmastiffs after we bought our first Bullmastiff puppy, Duke. We got Duke when my husband was stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. We immediately fell in love with Duke and it led to an extreme interest in the breed. We got Duke mainly for protection when we moved back to our house near Fort Hood, Texas. He has always been very protective, very obedient, and very loving. We knew we wanted to get him a girlfriend early on, but did not know we would end up with even more!

Breeding for quality

We do not just put any two mastiffs together. We pick two who compliment each other and together will make AKC bullmastiff puppies that are exceptional quality and the breed standard. We eventually want to get into showing and are confident that our home grown pups will do very well!

Why choose me as your breeder?

We are not the typical breeder. We do not leave our dogs in kennels without giving them love and attention. Our babies are walked and played with and every bullmastiff we have is our pet first. You will see when you come to pick up your baby or place your deposit that our babies have plenty of space. They have heated and air conditioned buildings to use when weather calls for it. They are often in and around the house as well. Our dogs are happy dogs and show it whenever people come to see us!! It is my goal to not only breed exceptional pups, but be a good loving person to all of the dogs and pups we come in contact with. I plan to start showing soon, health testing, and wait for it.....STILL BE A LOVING person to my dogs. So, here at bullkeepers we will have every single box checked!! Not a snobby breeder, not a breeder who thinks of them as machines, not a breeder who does not care about where the puppies end up, and not a breeder who ignored their dogs unless they are making money. I have always wanted to show everyone that you do not have to be stuck up to be a show breeder. I also want to show people that you can still love your dogs and treat them like family and still be a breeder. Too often breeders do not care where their pups go. That is not us. We speak to you often from first contact to home time and beyond. If we are ever uncomfortable with the person, we refund the money and part ways. I also do return contracts so that my pups never end up where I do not know where they are or worse...in a shelter. I have taken in needy bullmastiffs and rehabbed them then found them amazing homes which is so satisfying even though we sometimes take a hit financially for doing so. It is my dream to one day have amazing dogs that I bred here primarily instead of simply buying other peoples dogs to breed. I am hopefully hitting that goal very soon as I will be keeping back lots of pups from my own breedings this year since we have such an amazing crew! We get such a great response from everyone saying how well cared for, loved, and happy our crew is and it means the world to me.
